What is a Personalised Practice class?
This format allows you to learn and develop a practice in a way that suits you best.
You can turn up at any time during the 2 hour session. You will see students going about their own practices and the teacher moving amongst everyone providing input as required. It is a quiet environment where you can focus on yourself. Even though we are practicing individually, there is often an uplifting group energy that can be felt. There is something very supportive about gathering together in this way.
For the beginner, the first sessions might be quite short – allowing time to steadily build up understanding and proficiency in the basic movements and the principles of good Yoga practice. The teacher is with you every step of the way providing direction as needed. Over time, however, you will need the teacher less and less.
One of the wonderful things about this approach is that, after a while, you have a practice that you can do anywhere and anytime without the need for a teacher.
