I first began practicing Yoga in 2003. I remember these first classes very vividly. For me, there was an instant affinity for the practice and I could feel its benefits from day one.

After a few years, I began teaching Yoga on a casual basis to climbers at The Roxx Climbing Centre in Christchurch each week. It was a great privilege to work with such an enthusiastic group of individuals and it was through this time with these students that I began to develop my teaching skills.

In 2009 I decided to formalise my training by committing to a 3 year teaching apprenticeship in Sydney with the well respected Ashtanga teacher Angelika Knoerzer. Under Angelika’s expert guidance, my appreciation and understanding of Yoga and its rich tradition expanded. As part of my training, I also attended workshops with other well regarded Ashtanga practitioners such as Graeme Northfield, Gregor Maehle and Dena Kingsberg. I also studied Yoga philosophy with Michael Demanicor and anatomy with Leslie Kaminoff. It was such a brilliant experience being exposed to these masterful teachers and I cherish these times greatly.

I look forward to meeting you!
